distribution. Artists Only, founded in 1995, has released
over 150 titles to date. Artists Only has launched 5 very
successful Departments which include Reggae,
Dance/Electronic, New Age, Jazz and Classical.

Gerry McCarthy, President/Executive
Producer
Gerry is the co-founder of Artists Only! Records. His
experience spans 16 years in the music industry including
work within the Recording Studio, Songwriting, Music Retail
and within the Major Label Corporate structure. Gerry's
experience includes a tenure at Warner Bros. Records where
he served as International Product Manager of Artist
Development. At Warner Bros. Records Gerry developed
marketing/promotional plans for such artists as R.E.M., Lou
Reed, B-52's, David Byrne, Paula Cole, ZZ Top and the Red
Hot Chilli Peppers. His Recording Studio experience includes
the co-editing of the first three Hit singles from the Paula
Cole album, This Fire with partner,
Dale Ashley.
In 1998 his first co-production credit was shared with Dale
Ashley with the recording of Jazz Legend, Jimmy Scott's
album, Holding Back The Years. Gerry is one of the executive
producers for Artists Only! success series, Platinum
Reggae.

Dale's experience covers 15 years in music industry
including serving as the manager for the New York Branch
Sales Office of the Navarre Corporation (a national
distribution company), from 1994 -1996. Prior to that time,
he has also served as the Vice President of Twinbrook Music
Inc. (a New York based regional distribution company). In
addition to his responsibilities at AO! Records, Dale also
owns and operates Grace Note Productions, a digital
recording studio that includes a full service editing and
mastering facility. He has co-produced the Mark Kostabi - I
Did It Steinway album with Charles Coleman and the Jimmy
Scott album Holding Back The Years with Gerry McCarthy on
Artists Only. Dale has also recorded multiple works with the
Absolute Ensemble conducted by Kristjan Järvi. Other
engineering credits include mastering the Artists Only!
releases.

Gerlach, Product Manager
Through his freelance writing for The Beat, Club Life, Dub
Missive, a Reggae Nucleus staff member, his club deejaying
work, popular radio show on Groove 103.1 in Los Angeles, his
concert promotion/publicity work for RaggaMuffins
Productions, the producers of the annual Bob Marley Festival
and other concerts on the West Coast, Russell is already a
well-known figure within the reggae community. His
responsibilities at AO! include promotion/publicity and the
scouting of new talent. Russell is integral to the marketing
plans of Artists Only and works directly with the Artists
and Managers.

Manager
Julia's responsibilities at Artists Only! Records include
graphic design,CD-rom production and output for all AO!
titles. She also is the graphic designer for all advertising
as well as upkeeping the web-site, converting mp3 files and
video streaming.

In addition to his responsibilities at AO! Records, Tom is a
song writer for Sony Publishing. Artists with whom Tom has
worked include Vernon Reed, The Family Stand,Lisa Fisher (
who is on Electra and toured with the Rolling Stones last
year) and he produced the Resolve album Jack for
Artists Only.

Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, and Hawaii.
Navarre has been a national distributor of prerecorded music
and personal computer software since 1983. Building on its
strength and expertise as a leading independent distributor
of prerecorded music, Navarre has achieved increasing sales
in the growing market for personal computer software and
interactive CD-ROM software. Their product line includes
over 20,000 SKU's of compact discs, and interactive CD-ROM
software sold to over 500 customers with over 7,000
